Robert J. Wolf
On Monday an Elsberry man was sentenced to 12 years in prison after admitting he raped and had other sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl.
Robert J. Wolf, 35, of the 800 block of Highway JJ near Elsberry, was charged last year after deputies were called to a local hospital about a sexual assault of a minor, which happened in Wolf’s home.
The victim told authorities Wolf had sexual contact with her since she was 13.
They were related through marriage.
Wolf confessed and the victim told investigators that both were normally under the influence of marijuana when the incidents happened.
On Monday, Wolf pleaded guilty to four counts of endangering the welfare of a child, three counts of statutory rape and three counts of statutory sodomy.
The sentence was handed down by Circuit Judge Chris Kunza Mennemeyer.
