Dains charged with Felony of Receiving Stolen Property

In a case bound over from the Associate Circuit Court, resulting from charges filed on Oct. 29, 2013, James F. Dain, Jr., 23, of Elsberry has been charged in the 45th Judicial Circuit Court of Lincoln with a Class C Felony of ‘Receiving Stolen Property.’
According to the probable cause statement, on Oct. 18, 2013, Lincoln County Sheriff Deputy Cody Castle was dispatched to the 800 block of Ricky Drive in Foristell in reference to a possible disturbance.
Dains advised dispatch that he was being chased by several unknown persons.
Upon arrival Deputy Castle made contact with Dains, who appeared to be under a controlled substance. Dains stated he had taken Aderol that was not prescribed to him.
