How big will next year’s pie be?

Although no budgetary decisions for the 2014-2015 school year have officially been made, there is a very strong possibility that public schools in Missouri will have a little bit more money to work with than they have in the recent past.

While that has yet to be confirmed, the mere hint that there might be more financial resources available has led many people to start thinking about all of the additions and improvements that could be made to the Elsberry R-II School District should more dollars actually be made available.

In that spirit, a large number of parents, students and staff representing both the FFA/Agriculture program and the Community Teachers Association [CTA] converged in mass at the April 9 meeting of the Elsberry R-II School Board to lobby for their respective causes.
