Number five not in the cards; Indians lose 55-44 in title game

Despite a well traveled crowd from Elsberry, a sea of green mostly filled the stands Friday night at New Haven for the Elsberry versus New Haven Class 2 District 4 Championships.

Both the Indians and Lady Indians faced-off against both New Haven teams.

Just minutes before the boys took the court in search of their fifth district title, the Lady Indians fell in a hard fought battle 44-32, adding even more fuel for the home team Shamrocks.
