Clarence Cannon National Wildlife Refuge hosts Youth Conservation Corps program
For the fifth year in a row, the Clarence Cannon National Wildlife Refuge will once again host the Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) program.
The YCC is a well-balanced program that allows youth 15 to 18 years of age to develop an understanding and appreciation of the nation’s environment.
YCC enrollees are employed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, part of the Department of Interior.
Projects may include maintaining trails, minor maintenance and construction, habitat improvement and more.
