Elsberry students receive honors at the university level
Truman State University has released the Fall 2013 President’s List.
To qualify for this list, an undergraduate student must attain a semester 4.0 grade point average and complete 12 semester hours of credit.
Area students named to the list include Tana Sierra Neels of Foley, who is currently majoring in business administration.
Truman State University has also released the Fall 2013 Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs List.
To qualify for this list, an undergraduate student must attain a semester 3.50-3.99 grade point average and complete 12 semester hours of credit.
Area students named to the list include Cheyenne Daniele Desiree Foste of Elsberry, Rachel Nicolle LaGrand of Foley and Elizabeth Mae Schwartz of Foley.
Foste is currently majoring in art, while LaGrand and Schwartz are pursuing degrees in health science and communication disorders, respectively.
The Office of the Registrar at the University of Missouri has released the names of students currently on the fall 2013 Academic Dean’s List.
Former Elsberry students named to the list include Katherine Rose Almus, Kevin Daniel Dotson, Abigail Laurel Hall, Emily Grace Miller and Molly Elizabeth Schreiber.
Almus is a senior majoring in nursing, while Dotson is a sophomore pursuing a degree in natural resources and Hall is preparing to graduate this spring with her education degree.
Miller and Schreiber are both seniors majoring in agri-food and natural resources.
Former Elsberry students Mariah E. Suddarth, Eric L. Boedeker and Natalie Copeland have all earned spots on the University of Central Missouri Dean’s List for the fall of 2013.
Each semester, the Dean’s List at UCM is divided into two parts.
The first list includes the names of students who have achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average and the second list includes the names of students who attained a grade point average of 3.50-3.99.
Suddarth was named to the 4.0 Dean’s List at UCM, while Boedeker and Copeland made the 3.5-3.99 list.
Culver-Stockton College is proud to announce its President’s List for the fall 2013 semester.
To be named to the President’s List, students must meet high academic standards established by Culver-Stockton.
Local students currently on C-SC’s President’s List include Benjamin Bruckerhoff, junior criminal justice major from Elsberry.
In related news, the Office of the Registrar and the Graduate School at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville have released the names of students who have completed the requirements for degrees at the conclusion of the 2014 fall trimester and former Elsberry student Courtney Leigh Morton will be receiving her bachelor of science degree in industrial psychology.
Last but certainly not least, former Elsberry students Hillari B. Lagemann and Kyle J. O’Brien have been named to the Academic Dean’s List for the fall 2013 semester at Missouri State University and Nicholas Karl Joseph Grimes graduated in the fall of 2013 with his MBA from that same institution.
