Sheriff’s office partners with VA to assist veterans
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Jail Administration recently signed into an agreement to partner in the Veteran Administration’s Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment program.
This program helps returning veterans obtain specific job training, undergo skills coaching and gain meaningful employment.
“Being a veteran myself, I understand returning vets leave the military with a wealth of transferable skills and professionalism,” said Sheriff Cottle. “We entered into this agreement to assist veteran’s transition from one life into another, including those veterans with service-connect disabilities.”
