LCS hosts annual dance

For December, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is spicing up D.A.R.E. Dances in anticipation for the Holiday Season. The Sheriff’s Office will host a fifth and sixth Grade dance on Dec. 13 and a seventh and eighth grade dance on Dec. 20.

Each $5 paid entry will receive a glow in the dark holiday wristband and a chance to win cash or a flat screen TV in time for Christmas!

Over the past 11 years, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office uses the D.A.R.E. Dances as fundraiser for their annual fifth grade youth camp. In those 11 years, the Sheriff’s Office hosted 13 camps where approximately 1,300 campers enjoyed the time of their life.

All monies made during the D.A.R.E. Dances go directly back into the community.
