ISN now let’s fans watch and listen
For the past two seasons The Indian Sports Network (ISN) has been bringing sports fans live play-by-play action of the Elsberry Indians and Lady Indians Basketball games, this year they added a new element.
Now fans will be able to watch and listen to the games live.
“This is something we have been working on and preparing for since the middle of the fall sports season,” said General Manager of The Elsberry Democrat Michael Short. “We started ISN before basketball season two years ago and now it is just logical that we offer a new aspect for the fans.”
The games will still be broadcast via the internet at www.elsberrydemocrat.com and the play-by-play and color commentary will be brought to you by Adam Presswood and Brian Grierer.
“There will be an ISN logo on the top right side of our website where fans can click,” said Short. “It will take you to a video player page we have set up with a schedule and other information pertaining to the Indians and Lady Indians.
Of course any time dealing with the internet and electronics there can be technical issues, however, testing has been done and everything looks good for the start of the season.
“Hopefully fans will also notice a better quality of sound with the new equipment and will enjoy being able to see the games if they can’t make it in person,” said Short. “Now I am not saying we are going to be ESPN, but it should add another avenue for those wanting to see and hear the games.”
One of the best parts is now those with Macintosh computers can also watch and listen to the games. It is also compatible with most tablets.
“There will be a seven second delay however, so those that bring their tablets to the games and listen will notice a bit of lag,” said Short.
